Brief Explanation
Explanation: The meaning is that only believers are such that they surpass one another in good deeds and in benefiting others. Some are even such that they are equivalent to a thousand people, because at times a single person accomplishes as much as a thousand people. For example, someone establishes an institution for the dissemination and propagation of knowledge, or produces a written work that even thousands of people together could not have accomplished, or invents something that benefits humanity. Similarly, he advances things that fulfill the needs of social and civic life. Sometimes, a single individual proves to be more beneficial than not just a thousand, but many thousands of people, as those who are aware of the conditions of people know well. Therefore, the true human being is the one who benefits others, whereas a person devoid of such a quality is like that zero which is written to the left side of a number, having no value whatsoever.
