Brief Explanation
Explanation:
In these ahadith, an important psychological point has been indicated, and that is: no matter how certain a piece of information may be, its effect is not like that of direct observation. The impact that witnessing and seeing something has upon the heart is truly remarkable. For example, if someone is informed that an accident has occurred at a certain place, it is natural for that person to become worried and anxious. However, in comparison, the concern and anxiety that grip the heart and mind upon actually seeing the accident with one's own eyes are far more intense and immediate. Therefore, it has been stated that information about something is not like observation—that is, seeing it with one's own eyes.
