1125 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْمَيْمُونِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْوَرْدِ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمْ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَبْدًا أَذْهَبَ آخِرَتَهُ بِدُنْيَا غَيْرِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the worst person among the people in the sight of Allah Almighty is the one who ruins his Hereafter for the sake of someone else's worldly life."
