1113 - أَخْبَرَنَا تُرَابُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أبنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ثنا الْقَاضِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ - أَوْ قَالَ - إِنَّ رَبِّي زَوَى لِي الْأَرْضَ فَرَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا، وَإِنَّ مُلْكَ أُمَّتِي سَيَبْلُغُ مَا زُوِيَ لِي مِنْهَا»
Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah," or he said: "Indeed my Lord, folded the earth for me so that I saw its eastern and western extents, and indeed the dominion of my Ummah will reach as far as it was folded for me."

In this blessed hadith, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam described one of his magnificent miracles: Allah Ta'ala gathered and contracted the entire earth and presented it before him, and he observed it from its easternmost to its westernmost points. Accordingly, he foretold that the rule of his ummah would reach all those regions which he had witnessed. This prophecy of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is absolutely true; Muslims have ruled over most parts of the earth. Furthermore, near the Day of Judgment, during the era of Imam Mahdi and Sayyiduna Isa alayhis salam, Muslims will rule over the entire earth, insha Allah.
