1100 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ النَّقَّاشُ، ثنا أَبُو أَيُّوبَ، سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ مُخْتَصَرًا
Abu Ahwas narrates from his father that he presented himself before the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him: "Indeed, when Allah bestows a blessing upon a servant, He likes to see its effect on him." The narrator has reported this concisely.
