Brief Explanation
Explanation:
In this hadith, the virtue of charity and almsgiving has been described: the person who gives charity will be under the shade of his charity on the Day of Resurrection, until the reckoning of the people is completed. This will be a very difficult stage, where charity will overshadow the servant in the form of an umbrella or canopy and will protect him from the heat and sun of the Day of Judgment. Because in the world, this person sheltered the poor and needy under his shade of kindness, therefore today, in this arduous stage, that very deed benefited him and he received shade.

Regarding one of the narrators of this hadith, Abu al-Khair Marthad bin Abdullah, it is mentioned that in view of this hadith, he would not let a single day pass without giving some charity or alms, even if it was only dry bread, an onion, or something similar. [أحمد : 4/ 148]
