1026 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الشَّافِعِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الطَّحَاوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ، ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، ثنا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «. . وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا وَفِيهِ» إِنَّ لِكُلِّ عَامِلٍ شِرَّةً، وَلِكُلِّ شِرَّةٍ فَتْرَةً "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said . . . . . . and he narrated a hadith in which it was also mentioned: "Indeed, for every doer there is enthusiasm (in action), and for every enthusiasm there is a period of slackness."
