1013 - وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، نا ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ
This hadith is also narrated through another chain from Ali bin Abdul Aziz with his chain in the same manner.
Brief Explanation
Explanation:
Two points are understood from this blessed hadith:
① The best food for a person is that which he eats from his own lawful (halal) earnings. Earnings obtained through hard work are halal, provided that the rulings of the Shari‘ah are observed in them.
② A person's children are also considered his own earnings, because he has raised and nurtured them with great effort and toil. Therefore, parents have the right to make use of their children's earnings even without their permission.
