100 - أَخْبَرَنَا هِبَةُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أبنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ طَالِبٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ الْبَجَلِيُّ، أنا أَبِي، أنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ تَزِيدُ فِي الْعُمُرِ، وَصَدَقَةُ السِّرِّ تُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Maintaining ties of kinship increases lifespan, and giving charity secretly extinguishes the wrath of the Lord, the Exalted.”

Benefit:
Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu reports that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Whoever wishes that his provision be expanded and his lifespan be prolonged, then he should maintain the ties of kinship (silat ar-rahm)." [بخاري : 5986]
