Hadith 1305
1305 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: «لَمَّا تَصَوَّبَتْ قَدَمَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْوَادِي رَمَلَ حَتَّي جَازَ الْوَادِيَ»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the blessed feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the lower part of the valley, he (peace and blessings be upon him) began to run until he (peace and blessings be upon him) had crossed that (lower part).
