Hadith 1295
1295 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخِي بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي جَارِيَةً، وَأنَا أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَا يَرُدُّ شَيْئًا قَضَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ» ، قَالَ: فَذَهَبَ الرَّجُلُ فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا حَتَّي جَاءَ إِلَي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَشَعُرْتَ أَنَّ تِلْكَ الْجَارِيَةَ حَمَلَتْ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have a slave girl and I practice coitus interruptus with her. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This act cannot turn back what Allah has decreed." Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: That man left, and after some time he came again to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have come to know that the slave girl has become pregnant. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)."
