Hadith 1284
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ الْإِمَامُ الْعَالِمُ الزَّاهِدُ الْحَافِظُ تَقِيُّ الدِّينِ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الْغَنِيِّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُرُورٍ الْمَقْدِسِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَصْلِهِ قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَي الْأَسَدِيُّ قَالَ:
1284 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرٌو، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ ابْنِ سَلُولَ بَعْدَ مَا أُدْخِلَ حُفْرَتَهُ، قَالَ: «فَأَمَرَ بِهِ، فَأُخْرِجَ، فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَي رُكْبَتَيْهِ، فَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ، وَنَفَثَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ» ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ،
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul (at the time of his death), when he had already been placed in the grave. By the order of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he was taken out, and his body was placed on the knees of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made him wear his shirt and applied his blessed saliva on him. The rest, Allah knows best.
