Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise and there I saw a palace (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) I saw a house. I inquired: Whose house is this? I was told: This is Umar bin Khattab's. O Abu Hafs! If it were not for your temperament's intensity, I would have entered it." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep and said: O Messenger of Allah! Would I ever be angry with you?"
