Hadith 1207
1207 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا مِسْعَرُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَي، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَجَاوَزَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي مَا وَسْوَسَتْ فِي صُدُورِهَا، مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ، أَوْ تَكَلَّمْ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted has pardoned my Ummah for the whispers that arise in their minds, as long as they do not act upon them or speak about them."
