Hadith 1203
1203 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ ظَبْيَانَ الْحَنَفِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي حَنِيفَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: ذَهَبْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَي يَهُودِ بَنِي قَيْنُقَاعٍ بِدَارِسِهِمْ، فَأَبْصَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا مُتْخَلِّقًا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُ عَرُوسٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَإِنْ، اذْهَبْ فَاغْسِلْهُ، ثُمَّ أَنْهِكْهُ، ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ، ثُمَّ أَنْهِكْهُ، ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ، ثُمَّ أَنْهِكْهُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I went with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to the Jews of Banu Qaynuqa who used to give them lessons. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man who had applied a good fragrance. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Perhaps he has recently gotten married. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and wash him, and wash him well, then wash him, and wash him well, then wash him, and wash him well."
