Hadith 1190
1190 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا سَالَمْنَاهُنَّ مُنْذُ حَارَبْنَاهُنَّ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مِنْهُنَّ شَيْئًا خِيفَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي» يَعْنِي الْحَيَّاتِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We have started fighting them, we have not made peace with them, and whoever, out of fear of them, lets any one of them go, he has no relation with us." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant snakes.
