Hadith 1168
1168 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَقْتَسِمْ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدُ نَفَقَةَ أَهْلِي، وَمَؤُنَةُ عَامِلِي فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَا تَقْتَسِمْ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My heirs will not distribute dinars. Whatever I leave after the expenses of my wives and the salaries of my workers will be charity. My heirs will not distribute dinars."
