Hadith 1143
1143 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَوْلَادِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، مَنْ يَمُوتُ مِنْهُمْ صِغَارًا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the children of the polytheists who die in their childhood, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah knows best what deeds they would have done."
