Hadith 1115
1115 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ، إِلَي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي وَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا أَسْوَدَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ إِبِلٍ؟» ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: «مَا أَلْوَانُهَا؟» ، قَالَ: حُمْرٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَلْ فِيهَا مِنْ أَوْرَقَ؟» ، قَالَ: أَنَّ فِيهَا لَوُرْقًا، قَالَ: «فَأَنَّي أَتَاهَا ذَلِكَ؟» ، قَالَ لَعَلَّ عِرْقًا نَزَعَهُ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَهَذَا لَعَلَّ عِرْقًا نَزَعَهُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Bedouin from the tribe of Banu Fazarah came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! My wife has given birth to a black child. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: “Do you have camels?” He replied: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: “What is their color?” He replied: Red. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: “Is there any gray among them?” He replied: There is one gray among them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: “Where did that come from?” He replied: Perhaps some gene pulled it out. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Perhaps some gene has pulled this one out as well.”
