Hadith 1110
1110 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، وَحَدَّثَنِي وَلَيْسَ مَعِي وَلَا مَعَهُ أَحَدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «الْعَجْمَاءُ جُرْحُهَا جُبَارٌ، وَالْمَعْدَنُ جُبَارٌ، وَالْبِيَرُ جُبَارٌ، وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There will be no compensation for injury caused by an animal. There will be no compensation for death by falling into a mine. There will be no compensation for death by falling into a well, and payment of one-fifth is obligatory on treasure."
