Hadith 1108
Ikrimah narrates: Shall I not tell you about those concise things which I heard from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)? One of them is this: He narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person should ever prevent his neighbor from placing his beam in his wall." The narrator named Ayyub says: If I tell you that when Ikrimah came to Basra, Hasan al-Basri had stopped narrating many interpretative traditions, then my statement would be true.
