Hadith 1101
1101 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا كَفَي أَحَدَكُمْ خَادُمُهُ صَنْعَةَ طَعَامِهِ، وَكَفَاهُ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ، فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ، فَلْيَأْكُلْ مَعَهُ، فَإِنْ أَبَي، فَلْيَأَخُذْ لُقْمَةً فَلْيَرَوِّغْهَا ثُمَّ لِيُعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ» .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person's servant prepares food for him, that servant has endured its heat and smoke, so that person should make his servant sit with him and feed him. If he does not do so, then he should take a morsel, dip it in the curry, and then give it to the servant."
