Hadith 1097
1097 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا رَأَي أَحَدُكُمْ مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقَهُ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْجِسْمِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَي مَنْ هُوَ دُونَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person sees someone who is superior to him in wealth and physique, he should also look at someone who is inferior to him in these respects."
