Hadith 1093
1093 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بِمِثْلِهِ، وَزَادَ فِيهِ: " وَيَكْتُبُ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ حَلْبَةٍ حَلَبَهَا حَسَنَةً، أَوْ قَالَ: عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ بِقَدْرِ حَلْبَتِهَا مَا كَانَتْ بِكَأَتْ أَوْ غَزُرَتْ "
This narration is also transmitted from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) with another chain of transmission, however, in this version these additional words are present: "When a person milks it, Allah Almighty writes good deeds for him in return for every milking." (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) "He writes good deeds equal to the amount of that milking as long as the animal continues to have the ability to give milk."
