Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in the morning prayer, then he turned towards the people and sat down and said: “Once a man was driving a cow. During this, he became tired, so he rode on it and struck it. The cow said: ‘I was not created for this purpose; I was created for plowing the earth.’ The people said: ‘Subhan Allah! Even a cow can speak?’” The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I believe in this, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar (believe in this),” even though these two were not present at that time. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Once a man was among some goats, and a wolf attacked one of the goats. The owner of the goat reached there and rescued it from the wolf, so the wolf said: ‘Who will guard it on the special day of the beasts, when its shepherd will be no one but me?’ The people said: ‘Subhan Allah! Even a wolf can speak?’ The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘I, Abu Bakr, and Umar believe in this.’” (The narrator says) even though these two were not present at that time.
