Hadith 1073
1073 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعَمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ مَعْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَائِفَةٍ مِنَ النَّهَارِ لَا يُكَلَّمُنِي وَلَا أُكَلِّمُهُ، حَتَّي أَتَي سُوقَ قَيْنُقَاعٍ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ حَتَّي أَتَي فِنَاءَ عَائِشَةَ، فَجَلَسَ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَثَمَّ أَثَمَّ، يَعْنِي حَسَنًا» فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ إِنَّمَا تَحْبِسُهُ أُمُّهُ لِأَنْ تُغَسِّلَهُ وَتُلْبِسُهُ سِخَابًا، فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ أَنْ جَاءَ يَسْعَي حَتَّي اعْتَنَقَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللَّهُمُّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ وَأَحِبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once, during the day, I was walking with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) along with some other people. The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not speak to me, nor did I speak to him, until the Prophet (peace be upon him) reached the market of Banu Qaynuqa. Then, from there, he turned and came to the house of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). There, the Prophet (peace be upon him) sat down and then said: "Is he here? Is he here?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asking about Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him). I guessed that his mother had held him back, as she was bathing him and had put a necklace on him. After a little while, Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) came running and embraced the Prophet (peace be upon him). So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "O Allah! I love him, so You love him, and love the one who loves him."
