Hadith 1055
1055 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُغِيرَةَ الْكُوفِيُّ، وَكَانَ مِنْ سُرَاةِ الْمَوَالِي، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ قَبْرِي وَثنا، لَعَنَ اللَّهُ قَوْمًا اتَّخَذُوا، أَوْ جَعَلُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol. May Allah curse those people who made the graves of their prophets places of prostration."
