992 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَابُورَ، وَحُمَيْدٌ الْأَعْرَجُ، وَابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: ﴿ وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ﴾ ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرَي مِنْ خَلْفِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ كَمَا يَرَي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ»
Mujahid narrates regarding the statement of Allah Almighty: «وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ» (26-ash-Shu'ara:219) "And turns you among those who prostrate." Mujahid states: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to see behind him during prayer just as he used to see in front of him.
