968 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ: وَحَفِظْتُهُ مِنْهُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا رَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ، وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ بِمَكَّةَ، اللَّهُمُّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَي مُضَرَ، وَاجْعَلْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head from the second rak‘ah in the morning prayer, he recited: “O Allah! Grant deliverance to Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham, ‘Ayyash bin Abi Rabi‘ah, and the weak individuals in Makkah. O Allah, inflict Your severity upon the people of Mudar and bring upon them a famine like that during the time of Yusuf (peace be upon him).”
