882 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ: إِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «نَهَي عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ» فَقَالَ: قَدْ كَانَ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيُّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَكِنْ أَبَي ذَلِكَ الْبَحْرُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَقَرَأَ: ﴿ قُلْ لَا أَجِدُ فِيمَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا﴾ الْآيَةَ
Amr bin Dinar says: I said to Jabir bin Zaid: People say that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade eating the meat of domesticated donkeys. So he replied: Sayyiduna Hakam bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this to us from the Prophet (peace be upon him), but the ocean of knowledge, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), did not accept this. He recited this verse: «قُلْ لا أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا» (6-al-An'am:145) "Say: I do not find, in what has been revealed to me, anything forbidden..."
