Hadith 856
856 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، فَقَالَ آخَرُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، وَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ آخَرُ، فَقَالَ: «أَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ أَعْطَاهُ السُّدُسَ» ، قَالَ: مَعَ مَنْ، قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي، قَالَ: لَا دَرَيْتَ
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Another man stood up and said: I bear witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the grandfather one-sixth. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: With whom? He replied: I do not know. So Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: You do not know either.
