812 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلَاقَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيَّ، يَقُولُ: «بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَي النُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ» ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَزَادَ ابْنُ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «وَإِنِّي لَكُمْ لَنَاصِحٌ»
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I pledged allegiance to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on his blessed hand that I will adopt goodwill for every Muslim. The narrator named Sufyan, with another chain of narration, has also transmitted these words from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him): "I am a well-wisher for you people."
