Hadith 791
791 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ خُصَيْفَةَ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَي الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لَهُ، فَلْيَرْجِعْ»
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person seeks permission (to enter a house) three times and is not granted permission, he should return."
