Hadith 767
767 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي قَزَعَةُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : «لَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَي ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ : الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ، وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا ، وَمَسْجِدِ إِيلِيَا» . ¤ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : «لَا تُسَافِرِ امْرَأَةٌ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ» . ¤ وَنَهَي رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّي تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، وَعَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّي تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ ۔ ¤ وَنَهَي عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمَيْنِ يَوْمِ الْأَضْحَي وَيَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A journey should only be undertaken towards three mosques: Al-Masjid al-Haram, this mosque of mine, and the mosque of Ilya (that is, Bayt al-Maqdis)." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "If a woman travels for more than three days, she should have a mahram relative with her." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade performing prayer after the 'Asr prayer until sunset and after the Fajr prayer until sunrise. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also forbade fasting on two days: the day of Eid al-Adha and the day of Eid al-Fitr.
