750 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرَ مَالِ الرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ يَتْبَعُ شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ، وَمَواقِعَ الْقَطْرِ، يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A time will soon come when the best wealth of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take to the tops of mountains and to places where rain falls (i.e., deserted forests), fleeing with his religion from tribulations.”
