Hadith 724
724 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: " أَنَهَي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ "
Tawoos narrates: I was sitting with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) when a man came and said: Has the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited preparing nabidh in pitchers and dubba? He replied: Yes.
