694 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ لِي عُمَرُ: " لَأَنْ تَكُونَ قُلْتَهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ كَذَا وَكَذَا، أَوْ قَالَ: مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: If you had said this statement, it would have been more beloved to me than such and such thing. (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) It would have been more beloved to me than red camels.
