Hadith 683
683 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْنَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ اعْتَمَرَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا وَلَمْ يَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، أَيْقَعُ بِامْرَأَتِهِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: «قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا، وَصَلَّي خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ» وَقَالَ: " وَاللَّهِ ﴿ لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ﴾ "
Umar bin Dinar narrates: It was asked from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about a person who, while performing Umrah, circumambulates the Ka'bah seven times but does not perform the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. Can he have relations with his wife? Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, he circumambulated the Ka'bah seven times, then he prayed near Maqam Ibrahim, then he performed the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, while Allah Almighty has said: «لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ» (33-Al-Ahzab:21) "Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example."
