Hadith 659
659 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، وَصَالِحُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَتَنَاجَي اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two people should not converse in whispers excluding a third."
