Hadith 591
591 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عِيسَي بْنَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَبَحْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ قَالَ: «ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ» وَقَالَ آخَرُ: حَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اذْبَحْ وَلَا حَرَجَ» فَقِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ: " هَذَا مِمَّا حَفِظْتَ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ كَأَنَّهُ يَسْمَعُهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ طَوِيلٌ فَحَفِظْتُ هَذَا مِنْهُ «فَقَالَ لَهُ بُلَيْلٌ فَإِنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْكَ أَنَّكَ قُلْتَ لَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ فَقَالَ» صَدَقَ لَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ كُلَّهُ وَأَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ أَتْقَنْتُهُ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: O Messenger of Allah! I performed the sacrifice before the stoning (rami). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Now perform the stoning. There is no harm.” Another person came and said: I shaved my head before the sacrifice. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Now perform the sacrifice. There is no harm.” Sufyan was asked: Did you memorize this narration from Zuhri? He replied: Yes! As if he was listening to it even at that time. However, this narration is lengthy. I have only memorized this part of it. So Bulbul said to him: (According to one opinion, his name is Balil bin Harb) Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi says this from you, you have narrated this, I do not remember this narration completely, but as far as this part is concerned, I certainly remember it.
