Hadith 509
509 - وَمَرَّةً سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ: «احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ» وَلَا أَدْرِي أَسَمِعَهُ عَمْرٌو مِنْهُمَا أَوْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَي الْمَرَّتَيْنِ وَهْمًا؟
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done while he was in the state of ihram. The narrator says: I do not know whether Amr heard this narration from both of these gentlemen or if he was mistaken at one of the two places.
