Hadith 480
480 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَلِأَنَّ عَمْرًا حَدَّثَنَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ: «رُؤْيَا الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَحْيٌ» وَقَرَأَ ﴿ إِنِّي أَرَي فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ﴾
Sufyan says: Amr bin Dinar has informed us that he heard Ubaid bin Umair say: The dreams of the noble Prophets are revelation, and he recited this verse as evidence: «إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ» "I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you."
