Hadith 432
432 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَي بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَي أَنْ يَمَسَّ الرَّجُلُ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي فِي الَاسْتِنْجَاءِ
Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade a man from holding his private part with his right hand. Sufyan says: What is meant by this is during istinja (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself).
