402 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ حَجَرٍ الْمُدَرِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَي بِالْعُمْرَي لِلْوَارِثِ»
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the ruling that ‘Umra is to be given to the heir.
