356 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا يَحْيَي بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ سَنُوطَا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ امْرَأَةَ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ تَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُذَاكِرُ حَمْزَةَ الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ فَإِنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهَا، وَرُبَّ مَتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللَّهِ وَمَالِ رَسُولِهِ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ» وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ «يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Sayyida Khawla bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the wife of Sayyiduna Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speaking with Sayyiduna Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) about worldly matters. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the world is sweet and green; whoever acquires it along with its due right, there is blessing placed in it for him. And for the one who takes possession of the wealth of Allah and the wealth of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (i.e., acquires it unlawfully), there will be fire for him on the day he appears before Allah, the Exalted." The narrator named Sufyan sometimes narrated these words: "On the Day of Resurrection."
