337 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ ثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِنْسَانٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِنْسَانٍ بَطْنٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ وَجًّا مُقَدَّسٌ مِنْهُ عَرَجَ الرَّبُّ إِلَي السَّمَاءِ يَوْمَ قَضَي خَلْقَ الْأَرْضِ، قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ وَجٌّ بِالطَّائِفِ
Ka'b al-Ahbar says: "Wajj" is a sacred place; it is the place that when Allah Almighty created the earth, from here Allah Almighty ascended towards the sky.
Imam Humaydi, may Allah have mercy on him, says: "Wajj" is in Ta'if.
