333 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ مَوْلَي عَقِيلٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ: أَتَانِي يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ حَمَوَانِ لِي فَأَجَرْتُهُمَا فَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ يُرِيدُ قَتْلَهُمَا فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّتِهِ بِالْأَبْطَحِ بِأَعْلَي مَكَّةَ فَلَمْ أَجِدْهُ وَوَجَدْتُ فَاطِمَةَ فَلَهِيَ كَانَتْ أَشَدَّ عَلَيَّ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَتْ تُؤْوِينَ الْكُفَّارَ وَتُجِيرِينَهُمْ وَتَفْعَلِينَ وَتَفْعَلِينَ، فَلَمْ أَلْبَثُ أَنْ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَي وَجْهِهِ رَهْجَةُ الْغُبَارِ فَقَالَ «يَا فَاطِمَةُ اسْكُبِي لِي غُسْلًا» فَسَكَبَتْ لَهُ غُسْلًا فِي جَفْنَةٍ لَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَي أَثَرِ الْعَجِينِ فِيهَا ثُمَّ سَتَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ بِثَوْبٍ «فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ صَلَّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيهِ ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ» مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَجَرْتُ حَمَوَيْنِ لِي، وَإِنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّي عَلِيٌّ أَرَادَ قَتْلَهُمَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ إِنَّا قَدْ أَجَرْنَا مَنْ أَجَرْتِ، وَأَمَّنَّا مَنْ أَمَّنْتِ»
Sayyida Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, two of my brothers-in-law came to me and I gave them protection. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came to kill both of them, so I went to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was staying in his tent in the upper area of Makkah, Abtah. There I met the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I encountered Sayyida Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she was even harsher with me than Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). She said: "You are giving shelter to the disbelievers, you are granting them protection, you are doing this and you are doing that." I remained there. During this time, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived there, and there were traces of dust on his blessed face. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Fatimah! Prepare water for me." So Sayyida Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) prepared water for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a large container in which I could see traces of kneaded dough. Then she put up a curtain for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ghusl (ritual bath), then he wrapped himself in a single cloth, placing its opposite ends over both shoulders, and performed eight units (rak‘ahs) of prayer. I had never seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform this prayer before or after. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) completed the prayer, I said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have given protection to my two brothers-in-law, and my maternal cousin Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) wants to kill both of them." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He cannot do that. Whoever you have given protection to, we also give protection to, and whoever you say 'Ameen' for, we also say 'Ameen' for." (Meaning, whatever you accept, we also accept.)
