329 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا أَخُو الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لَا تَرْفَعَنَّ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْكُنَّ رَأْسَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الْإِمَامُ رَأْسَهُ؛ مِنْ ضِيقِ ثِيَابِ الرِّجَالِ»
Sayyida Asma bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O group of believing women! Let no woman raise her head before the Imam does." (The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said this) because the men's garments were short.
