299 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدِي مُخَنَّثٌ فَسَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إُمَيَّةَ: يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ الطَّائِفَ غَدًا فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِابْنَةِ غَيْلَانَ؛ فَإِنَّهَا تُقْبِلُ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَتُدْبِرُ بِثَمَانٍ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَدْخُلَنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ عَلَيْكُمْ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَقَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ اسْمُهُ هَيْتٌ
Sayyida Zaynab bint Abu Salama (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from her mother, Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my place and there was a eunuch present there. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard this eunuch saying to Abdullah bin Abu Umayyah: “O Abdullah! If Allah grants you victory over Ta’if in the future, then be sure to acquire the daughter of Ghilan, for she is very healthy (and possesses a beautiful body).” The narrator says: So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “These (eunuchs) should not come to you.” Sufyan says: Ibn Jurayj stated that the name of this eunuch was “Hit.”
