215 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثني عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ: «طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِحَرَمِهِ وَحِلِّهِ» قُلْتُ: أَيُّ الطِّيبِ؟ قَالَتْ: بَأَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I applied perfume to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) at the time of entering into Ihram and at the time of exiting from Ihram. (The narrator says) I asked: Which perfume? She replied: The best of perfumes.
